Leadership is the basis for our training concepts. We empower dog owners with the skills necessary to lead their dog, encourage proper behavior and discourage unwanted behavior. With new leadership skills, dog owners can confidently venture out with their dog without being embarrassed by leash pulling, or lunging and barking at others. Owners can have visitors over without dangerous jumping or nuisance barking. With leadership training, owners apply the concepts themselves and build the bond with their own dog to last a lifetime.
Private lessons give dog owners our undivided attention to work on the goals they have set for their dogs. Group lessons then test the owners new skills around distractions of other dogs, people, and environmental noises of walking paths, parks, shopping areas and busy downtown.
All Inclusive Advanced Manners is 4 lessons and requires dogs and their owners to have some foundational training prior to attending. This four lesson course moves very quickly and dogs must know basic commands. This course is primarily for dog owners that are interested in prong and remote collar training to expand training they may have received elsewhere.
For dogs without any foundational training our All Inclusive Manners course is a total of 6 lessons.
Our Aggressive Behavior Refinement course addresses dangerous behaviors.
All Inclusive Advanced Manners (4 lessons to include prong and remote collars)
Lesson 1: Private
Clients are issued their included basic equipment and lesson plan. Owners and their dogs are introduced to prong collars and our double handle leash. Leadership is taught through structured guidance of Operant Conditioning. Owners can select their preferences for their remote collar system.
Lessons every 2 weeks
Lesson 2: Private
Issuance of remote collar. Owners proficiency with leash guidance is evaluated to begin remote collar lessons. Remote collar is introduced by pairing leash guidance to low level stimulation of remote collar for known commands.
Lessons 3 & 4: Group
Owner's leadership skills are tested under moderate distraction during a structured walk and obedience commands with up to three other active clients and their dogs per instructor.
